Floresta é o nome do mundo is the Brazilian edition for the science fiction novella "The word for the world is forest" written by American writer Ursula K. Le Guin. The novel carries strongly anti-colonial and anti-militaristic overtones, and it also explores themes of sensitivity to the environment, and of connections between language and culture.
